Background

Finca Las Peñitas has a rich history. In 2005, Jorge’s father entered the 2nd Honduran Cup of Excellence with support from San Vicente and won first place, bringing prestige to both the family and their region. Inspired by this, he shifted from vegetables to coffee. By 2010, Jorge and his family were processing specialty coffee and exporting micro-lots. Years of dedication led to a personal milestone in 2017, when Jorge achieved 2nd place in the Honduran Cup of Excellence.
