Refund Policy

1. Returns of Coffee Beans/Ground Coffee
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns on coffee beans/ground coffee (once the heat-sealed bag has been opened or the roast date has passed more than 14 days). We want you to love your PhD-selected beans, so if there is an issue with the quality or if the beans are damaged during transit, please contact us at ratdogspecialitycoffee@gmail.com within 48 hours of receipt.


2. Non-Coffee Items
For non-perishable items (such as coffee equipments/gears), you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.


3. How to Start a Return
Please do not send any items back to the address listed on our website without prior authorization. Our website address is for correspondence only and cannot accept courier parcels. To start a return, please follow these steps:
1. Contact us at ratdogspecialitycoffee@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
2. If your return is accepted, we will provide you with a dedicated return shipping label or a specific return address (such as a local drop-off point).
3. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
4. Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
5. Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
