Castillo - Colombia - El Tambo Smallholders Blend

Our first espresso focused coffee. A washed Castillo from a group of smallholder producers in El Tambo, Cauca, grown at 2,000–2,080 m.a.s.l.

For this release, we’ve taken a slightly different approach from our usual filter focused coffees. Roasted with a fuller, more developed profile while still sitting around the Omni roast range, this coffee is designed to bring out plenty of body, sweetness and structure without pushing into a traditional dark espresso roast.

It works particularly well as espresso and milk based drink, but is equally at home in batch brew and cold brew. A versatile coffee for those looking for a fuller cup with enough clarity to keep things interesting.
